Palm is an
economic plant. It not only makes food, but also it can be made
into consumer goods. All parts of the plant can be used. The special
thing about palm oil is that it does not have a smell or taste that
will change the flavor of the food. So we can use it to cook food
such as Chinese doughnut, deep-fried pastry, deep-fried beans or
crisp rice biscuit. Other parts of palm also have its advantages.
For example, waste from palm seed has high protein and is suitable
to be used as animal food. A bunch of palm seed can be used as fertilizer
or used to plant mushrooms. After polluted water is passed through
treatment, it still consists enough elements to be used as a fertilizer
for palm and provide humidity for the plant. Furthermore, the palm
shell and fat can be used as a fuel in a factory for production.

There are 2 types of industries which has palm oil as the
main ingredient.
1. Food and oil industry for consumable goods. Palm oil refinery
industry, semi finished noodle industry, condensed milk industry,
equal cream industry, white butter and biscuit industry, fashion
foods or snacks industry.
2. Others industries are soup industry, metal aster industry
and animal food industry.
Palm
oil is not only suitable for industries but also it has its nutrition.
From research we found that palm oil has the highest amount of Vitamin
E if compared with other oil plants. We know that Vitamin E consists
of Tocopherol, Tocotrienol in terms of Alfa, Beta, Gamma, and Delta.
Tocopherol is the natural oxidize resistance, it is not easy to
have a rancid smell. BetaCarrotein in green palm can be used to
cure wounds and rid of toxins in the body and to protect the breathing
system, protect Efitirial tissue cancer, tissue under skin, to slow
down aging, and to make cartilage grow. BetaCarerotein will be destroyed
by refining with high temperatures. So West African and South American
do not need to refine palm oil at high temperatures to protect the
loss of BetaCarerotein which is good for our health.
Furthermore,
the palm oil also consists unequal amount of saturated oil and unsaturated
oil. There is (Poly-unsaturated) linoleic 11%, fatty acid which
is a necessity to our body that it cannot produce by itself. Form
research, monounsaturated fatty acid is oleic that can reduce the
cholesterol in the blood.
